Wylarah is motivated to safeguard, manage and improve the biodiversity of our farm region. Maintaining and restoring native vegetation alleviates problems such as erosion and soil structure decline, making the land more productive as well as increasing biodiversity.
Well maintained permanent natural pastures that are grazed under strict procedures, allow the paddock to rest and native perennial grasses to regenerate which maximises the condition of the cattle.
Trial seeding areas of native grasses have been monitored over the last few years for suitability and strength of species.
